The caller. Sextant reads the other team like patch notes — two rounds of data and he knows their default better than they do.
Jonas arrived at the Lab as an analyst intern, logging VODs for the academy squads. His scouting reports started predicting opponents so accurately that coaches handed him the clipboard, then the headset. He is the rare IGL who built his calling from the demo room outward.
Lanternfall plays slow because Sextant demands information first: defaults, map control, and a full utility count before any execute. Teammates describe his mid-round voice as “a metronome” — same pace at 11–11 as at 0–0.
Strengths
- Anti-stratting: exploits opponent defaults within two rounds
- Timeout usage — Lanternfall converts pauses into rounds
- Calm comms structure under finals pressure
“Analyst intern → assistant coach → IGL. Authors the weekly map-pool prep every roster studies.”
